Our Center is overjoyed to celebrate our student and newest Ph.D., Dr. Xinyue Wang!
Xinyue successfully defended her dissertation and officially earned her Ph.D. under the advisement of Dr. Paolo Bocchini.
Xinyue’s research, “Hurricane Risk Assessment of Power Transmission Systems: From Physics-Based Surrogates to Parameterized Fragility Models” represents a significant contribution to the field of catastrophe modeling and resilience.
We’re incredibly proud of this academic achievement and look forward to following her success at UCL where she will soon begin as a Research Fellow working on Multi-hazard Risk and Resilience Modeling, with Professor Carmine Galasso.
