We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ethan Yang as the new Associate Director of the Center for Catastrophe Modeling and Resilience. Ethan succeeds Dr. Brian Davison and will serve as a central figure in advancing our core priorities and future expansion.
“I’m thrilled to step into the role of Associate Director for the Center for Catastrophe Modeling and Resilience and to serve as Program Director for the M.S. in Catastrophe Modeling & Resilience” says Dr. Yang. “In this capacity, I will focus on the strategic growth of the M.S. program, which includes leading student recruitment, strengthening research collaborations to expand opportunities, and supporting our students from application through graduation. I’m excited to work alongside Center Director Dr. Paolo Bocchini and our outstanding faculty and staff as we continue to build on our position as the nation’s leader in catastrophe modeling education."
