We’re pleased to recognize a significant milestone for Lehigh University with the launch of its UN Faculty Fellows Program!

Thanks to Lehigh’s recent elevation to UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) status, the University has launched the first-of-its-kind Faculty Fellows Program. This initiative brings together faculty to build international partnerships, advance research, and contribute directly to the UN’s work.

The Center for Catastrophe Modeling and Resilience (CAT) is proud to be an integral part of this university-wide effort. A special congratulations to our Director, Dr. Paolo Bocchini, who has been named one of the program’s inaugural fellows!

Dr. Bocchini’s participation will ensure that CAT’s expertise in catastrophe modeling and resilience research is leveraged to collaborate with UN disaster risk experts, and contribute directly to global policy.
