From May 20-22th Dr. David Casagrande represented CAT at the 10th International Conference on Flood Management (ICFM10) and presented his paper, “Resilience Bonds as a Public-Private Partnership for Managing Increasing Risks of Climate Change”.
Dr. Casagrande’s presentation within the session on Financing Flood Risk Reduction, Insurance, and Risk Transfer Mechanisms, sparked important dialogue how innovative financial tools can bridge the gap between public infrastructure needs and private capital.
