Dr. Felzer is an Associate Professor of Earth and Environmental Science at Lehigh University. He is a climatologist and environmental scientist and his research focuses on climate and biogeochemical modeling to study problems like interaction of land use and land cover with climate change, or how climate extremes affect ecosystem productivity and carbon dynamics. Before joining Lehigh's faculty he worked at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole and at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder.
